for want of a nut, a bolt was lost;

for want of a bolt, a wing was lost;

for want of a wing, a dove was lost;

for want of a dove, a branch was lost;

for want of a branch, the land was lost;

for want of land, the Ark was lost;

for want of the Ark, Noah, his sons, and all the animals were lost;

for want of Noah, his sons, and all the animals, Life As We Know It was lost –

and all for the want of a wing nut!
